Welcome, Researcher! At Vitascopium, we believe self-understanding begins with data. That is why our application operates as your personal lab – you have full control over the information collected, and we guarantee its security and its use exclusively for the purpose of generating personalized reports and discovering patterns.
1. Who is Responsible for Your Data?

2. What “Discoveries” Do We Collect and Why?
We collect the data that you consciously enter so that we can provide you with the unique functionality of the application.

3. Our Commitment: Sensitive Data
The information contained in your diary, such as mood or pain (self-assessments concerning health), is treated as exceptionally personal.
- Purpose: This data is processed strictly for your own use to help you notice dependencies – it is not used for diagnostic, medical purposes, or transferred for further processing.
4. Security Guarantee (Hosted on Google Firebase)
Vitascopium operates as a SaaS (Software as a Service), and your data is securely stored on Google Firebase infrastructure. Google, as our hosting provider, ensures the highest standards of data security, including:
- Encryption of data during transmission (TLS/SSL).
- Advanced server and database security mechanisms.
5. Your Full Control Over the Lab
You have complete control over your data. Your data is stored only while you are actively using the application (you have an account).
- Right to Delete Account: The user can delete their account at any time directly from the application’s user interface.
- Withdrawal of Consent: Deleting your account is equivalent to withdrawing consent for the processing of all your data and diary entries, resulting in their permanent deletion from our servers.
- Other Rights: The user can exercise all their rights (access, rectification, data portability) through the application’s user interface without the need to contact us.
6. Diary Privacy – No Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal diary entries with any third parties. All data used for optimization and statistics is previously anonymized.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help us ensure the stability and continuous development of the Vitascopium application.
What cookies do we use and why?
- Functional Cookies (Essential): We use these to ensure the application works correctly. This includes maintaining your session (so you don’t have to log in every time) and remembering your settings.
- Purpose: Without them, we would not be able to identify you within the app.
- Analytical and Performance Cookies (e.g., Google Firebase): These help us measure how users interact with the app, which features are popular, and which ones cause issues.
- Purpose: We use this data to continually improve and optimize Vitascopium (e.g., to enhance speed and stability).
- Marketing Cookies (e.g., Google Ads): We use these to monitor the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. They allow us to understand if users reached our app via ads, which is crucial for its growth.
- Purpose: Optimizing advertising and reaching new “Researchers”.
